Just how much can we trust Cuadrilla

One of the very interesting things to come out of yesterday was the information that Cuadrilla’s engineers did not tell their senior management about the earth tremors which occurred near Blackpool in April and May 2011.

You can see Leon Jennings, Health, Safety & Environment Director at Cuadrilla Resources giving a particularly unimpressive explanation as to why we should continue to trust them after that in this clip.

The obvious question is how, if their engineers don’t tell the senior management what is going on, can the same senior management claim to us that they know the process is safe.

Do we look stupid?
